As an independent educational consultant, I work directly with a student and their family to provide objective, experienced counsel to help individuals make informed and accurate decisions that are appropriate to their needs, goals, and circumstances. At each level, from secondary to college to graduate school and beyond, there are important questions to ask and answer; essential elements of the admissions process to complete; and a timeline to follow. I partner with a candidate to make the educational planning and admissions process less stressful, more systematic, and ultimately more rewarding.
If you are seeking assistance for yourself, your child or another family member, or someone you are sponsoring, working with me can help ensure that you understand the admissions process you are embarking on more fully; that you are not missing anything in your search for the right institutions; and that you make the presentation process as successful as possible.
I work with each student personally, reviewing essays and applications, discussing interviews, generating and reviewing lists of schools, suggesting summer programs and activities, and evaluating admissions strategies and options. I have extensive experience advising students applying to selective colleges and universities, including those at the most competitive level; working with student athletes through the athletic recruiting process; supporting students with learning disabilities, attention disorders, or other challenges; counseling students with significant talents in music and the arts; and helping international students manage U.S. college and university admissions.
